Appointments, etc, w/e October 20

WELCOME to a fairly recently-launched editorial thread on placedesignscotland.com: noting appointments, retirements, etc in the Scottish placemaking sector.

And we are grateful to reporting in Scottish Housing News, Scottish Construction Now and Project Scotland, plus others, for news of the following:

Caird, Charlotte – Appointed property manager at the Dundee office of ‘full service’ legal firm, Gilson Gray. Also appointed in Dundee: Ben Finnie, as regional sales manager. Reported here;

Currie, Angela – Elected to the board of the Chartered Institute of Housing (Scotland). Angela is chief executive of housing association, Hanover Scotland. She was elected along with Kenny Gillespie, head of housing at Falkirk Council, Shelly Hutton, head of external communications at Places for People, and Craig Sanderson (pictured), former chief executive of housing association, Link Housing. They replace Sue Shone, director of housing services at Whiteinch and Scotstoun housing association, and Paul Murphy, senior corporate services officer at Forgewood and Garrion housing co-operatives, who have stepped down after completing two terms on the board. Lees, Freya – Elected to the board of Grampian Housing Association, along with Charlotte Torrance and Nikola Will. Reported here.
