Call issued for entries, celebrating 25 years of regeneration awards

FIVE separate categories have been announced for annual awards recognising regeneration efforts in Scotland – now in their 25th year.
The winners of this year’s SURF Awards for Best Practice in Community Regeneration will be announced on December 7.
Meanwhile, the entry deadline is September 7.
And the categories – which were unveiled at a celebration in Glasgow yesterday, marking 25 years of the awards – are: Removing Barriers to Employability, Creative Regeneration, Community-led Regeneration, Improving Scotland’s Places and Housing and Regeneration.
Says SURF, here: “The SURF Awards are delivered each year by SURF, a regeneration forum with over 300 cross-sector member organisations across Scotland, in partnership with the Scottish Government. The purpose is to highlight, celebrate and share the achievements of initiatives that address physical, social and economic challenges in communities across Scotland.”
