Consultation launched on draft plans for Edinburgh park

A PROPOSED revamp of a major public park in Edinburgh is seeking comments, as part of a consultation exercise being run by the city’s local authority.
A draft masterplan has been drawn up for the Leith Links park, which is a large area of green space to the east of Leith, a district with a high urban density.
Says an announcement from the local council, here, the consultation asks specifically about enhancing a sense of arrival, a sense of place and ‘green-blue’ infrastructure plus increase activity and improve the provision of benches, bins, toilets, etc.
The consultation can be found, here, with views sought by July 31.
