Consultation launched on short-term letting planning guidance in Edinburgh

PEOPLE with an interest in the holiday letting market in Edinburgh are being invited to feedback their views on the city requiring holiday lets to now require planning permission.

The invitation has been issued by the local authority, The City of Edinburgh Council, which has set a closing date for the consultation (here) of December 22.

The feedback is specifically about planning guidance.

Edinburgh became a so-called ‘short-term control area’ from the beginning of last month, following the Scottish Parliament agreeing legislation (here) to allow it to happen.
