THE cross-party group on towns and town centres – at the Scottish Parliament – is considering the topic, ‘Together, toward change’.
Says the organiser, Scotland’s Towns Partnership: “Successfully tackling the challenges facing our towns requires collaboration: bringing together industry stakeholders, public agencies, local government, and experts from across sectors.
“The Coronavirus crisis is accelerating the pace of change, and now we must seize upon opportunities to reshape, reposition and support towns with strategies that are not focused solely on retail, but on town centres holistically.”
