BEGINS the event blurb: “BE-ST [Built Environment – Smarter Transformation, formerly Construction Scotland Innovation Centre] launched a new mission in April to accelerate the built environment’s transition to zero carbon. Three months later, UK temperatures broke 40°C for the first time. Real climate change is happening now. The time for action is now.
“As we reach COP27, let’s accelerate the progress made in the last year and do what needs to be done to keep the momentum going.
“BE-ST Fest 2022 is a month-long festival showcasing best practice, new solutions, hands-on training, and emerging opportunities for a zero-carbon built environment. The month will build up to the main conference at our innovation campus on Tuesday 25 October. The conference will bring together different players across the sector who are focussed on the future of decarbonising our built environment.
“This event is for anyone working in the built environment looking to accelerate their journey to zero carbon. It aims to not only inspire action but engage in the real challenges and real solutions.”
