Lovely proportions

“NOT in Scotland, but almost. This seemingly now former pub in Berwick-upon-Tweed (on Railway Street) immediately struck me as beautifully-proportioned.

“It seems an ideal design for a pub, with its grand entrance and confident front windows.

“There might be a formal description, along the lines of a ‘golden ratio’ or somesuch. But – hey – I just like it.” Mike
