Proposals sought for Scots submission to Venice Biennale

PROPOSALS that “explore how good architecture and the built environment can be more available to and inclusive for everyone” are being sought, to represent Scotland at an international cultural exhibition hosted annually in the Italian city of Venice.
The invitation has been issued for the November 2023 edition of the Venice Biennale.
Says the invite, from the 19 year-old organisation, Scotland + Venice, here: “This is a significant opportunity to present new ideas and practice from Scotland at one of the most prestigious international showcases for architecture in the world.”
The invite adds: “We are also interested in issues of diversity, community empowerment, whole-place collaborations, climate change, and life in a post-Covid world.”
The deadline for stage one of what is two-stage applications process is August 15.
