Scotland’s Home of the Year TV programme announces guest judge

THE Isle of Mull-based winner of a TV programme about interior design has been named a guest judge in another TV show, this one celebrating the best of Scotland’s homes.
Australian, Banjo Beale – recently crowned the winner of BBC One’s Interior Design Masters – will join Scotland’s Home of the Year, broadcast on BBC Scotland, as a guest judge alongside series stalwarts, Anna Campbell-Jones (pictured, left) and Michael Angus (pictured, right).
He takes over from Kate Spiers, who is taking a break from filming to have a baby.
Says a media release issued by BBC Scotland: “Australian-born Banjo – who lives on the Isle of Mull with his partner, Ro – describes himself as ‘an Antipodean Hebridean’ who settled in Tobermory in 2014 after backpacking around the world brought the couple to the Scottish island.”
The winner of the most recent Scotland’s Home of the Year was a converted croft house, New Tolsta, in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis.
