Stories wanted about Glasgow’s derelict buildings

STORIES about Glasgow’s derelict buildings are being invited – for a second, successive year.

For a long-running celebration of the city’s built heritage – Glasgow Open Doors Festival – the second edition of ‘Building Stories’ is being presented by the history group, New Glasgow Society.

Says the NGS, here: “We would like to invite you, the people of Glasgow, to submit your stories of derelict, disused and at-risk buildings that you care about.”

Eight submissions to last year’s inaugural edition of Building Stories can be read, here.

The deadline for submissions for this year’s appeal is the 18th of next month.
