Views sought on land and communities

VIEWS are being sought on how landowners engage with local people.
Two surveys have been launched by Scottish Government agency, the Scottish Land Commission: one for ‘land owners and managers’ – here, the other for community organisations and individuals – here.
The surveys parallel a Scottish Government consultation on proposed land reform., which ends on the 30th of this month, here.
Says the Scottish Land Commission, here: “The land reform body is hoping to collect information on the progress that has been made so far while the results will go on to help shape future guidance and regulation changes to encourage more effective engagement with communities when it comes to land.”
The deadline for the two surveys is November 30.
