Views sought on litter and fly-tipping

VIEWS are being sought on how society might reduce litter and eliminate fly-tipping.
A deadline of March 31 next year has been set for the consultation, launched by the Scottish Government, which has been published, here.
Says a Scottish Government announcement, here, a ‘sustained national behaviour change campaign’ is being proposed, aimed at breaking the cycle of littering and flytipping – to be supported by new research, looking at why people continue to litter.
Also, views are being sought as to the level of fines for transgressors.
